Definitely has to be something with full auto capability; probably a submachine gun. I think it's a close tie between the Beretta Model 12 and the Beretta Model 93R for the coolest gun out there.

I like a nice grade of oiled wood with a case hardened receiver (with tasteful traditional engraving) and good bluing on the other parts with iron sights ideally in a caliber that has been around for 50 to 100 years. Doesn't matter so much if rifle, pistol, or shotgun. Having said that, a full Manchlier stock makes me swoon.
