This engraving was unexpected. These pistols were ordered before we left with the unit crest on the left and information on the right. The engraver added the KIA in the center on every pistol, without telling anyone. Bitter sweet but I love this gun.

This Mosin was given to me after I left a unit on a plaque. MSG Yost cleaned the rifle up and prepped the plaque. The patches were distributed to friends after he was KIA, and I added mine to the rifle.

I won't go into details about how I came to have this pistol, but the memorial patch is for one of my team mates. The expended 9mm case was fired through HIS pistol . I was wearing the memorial patch when I was injured some months later, which is why there is a stain on it.

Not a gun, a 105mm shell fired in support of the fight in which this team mate was KIA.

We decided to not have names engraved onto our deployment pistols for the '07 trip, just the "bonehead crest" as on this Glock 21.
