You know, at some point some character in one of Larry's works has to spout the line "Oh my, you know he's *INSERT DESCRIPTION HERE*, he's got an HK."

The inserted word/phrase can be ostensibly complimentary or condescending, it will all work out the same through the magic of sarcasm.

Correia, I read the blog you linked... I've been trying to get the Pepsi I spewed on the computer screen off for the last few minutes. That was awesome.

That is funny. I can see the humor in it even though I own an USP45c.

Off topic -> Compared to my first 45, a Para Ordnance P1245, this HK is like manna from God. That PO was the biggest jam-o-matic POS imaginable.

Great blog posting! I agree although I have no real experience with H&K's. I did fire an HK 91 once. It was nice, but not THAT nice.

I'll admit I even had an H&K T-shirt because it had all the kewl guns on the back that I used in Rainbow 6. Well, the powers that be gave me my just reward by having me get my wisdom teeth out while wearing that shirt, and along with it being and incredibly painful week, I ended up bleeding all over the shirt and threw it away.

I always wondered how they managed to price the P7 so outrageously. You could buy 3 kel-tec sub compacts for the same money, but oh...they don't squeeze-cock. Funny, if you put a safety on the grip, people whine about it or say that they don't like it because it's one more thing to fail in their high-speed, low-drag enviornment. But if you put an enormous cocking device on the grip LOOK OUT! It becomes teh sex and everybody must have it.

    It's not. It's totally not.

And that's what makes it so funny.

Perhaps it's my skewed sense of humor but I found the “Preparation H&K” comment to be absolutely hysterical!

The H&K add I loved was of the hunger armed with I think a H&K 91 in a tree stand with ice sickles from the barrel and his hat.

Can we make a motivational poster for gun dealers?

Suggested caption: "Because NO! matters more than money."

I love that rant. I've read it a few times, and I completely agree. HK fanboys are bad ju-ju.
