H Pieper Liege shotgun?

    just aquired a dbl brrl 12, with rabbit ears, looks to be damascus barrels marked with H pieper Liege april 1881 . does anybody have info on this manufacturer or where to get it?

    H Peiper was a gun maker in Liege Belgium around 1860. Control was taken over in 1869 by Nicholas Pieper, and in 1905 became known as Anciens Establishments. Piepr of Herstal Belgium

    Please don't take offense, but I am sure you are aware of the danger of firing a gun with Damascus barrels.
