I just bought a H&R .22 Premier topbreak revolver and I am looking for some help on finding the age. Sorry no pictures.
The revolver has the following:
Nickel plated with black trigger and trigger guard. Dark hammer, possibly color case hardened.
.22 Caliber, topbreak, auto eject.
Top of barrel says "Harrington and Richardson Arms Company. Worcester Mass,USA. Pat Oct.8.1895"
Left side of barrel says "22 Rim Fire"
Serial # on bottom of grip and topstrap is 451366.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

modified,
Your H&R PREMIER small frame auto ejector is a 2nd Model 3rd Variation (1909 - 1913). With that serial number, which is high in the range for a 3rd variation, year of manufacture is probably 1913. Your gun was made to fire smokeless/nitro powder cartridges of "standard velocity", .22lr cartridges will most likely fit in your cylinder. Use of High Speed, High Velocity or Hyper Velocity rounds is discouraged due to loosening of the hinge and top latch.
The "standard" PREMIER models were produced in either 5 x .32 S&W or 7 x .22 rimfire (with the .22 being less commonly found); 3" barrel with a Nickel plated finish and black, molded hard rubber "Target Logo" grip panels. Options which will add value are blued finish; 2" (Bicycle model), 4", 5" or 6" barrels; Mother-of-Pearl, checkered walnut or Ivory grip panels. Manufacture of the 1st Model began in 1895, 2nd Model in 1905 and production ceased with H&R Arms Co.'s involvement with producing wartime weaponry and equipment in early WW2.
Here's a pic of a RARE configuration of the PREMIER from the same time period as yours.
