revolver is in great shape ,but cant find a proper name for this #644 ?,,safty hammer, what do you think old fluff ? mechanically sound !dont think i would shoot it ,knowing these are not the safest revolvers nor are they that acurate, they are unigue though (interesing revolver was found in the wall of an old farm house that was being demolished circa 1850 ) just hope to verify the #644 stamped on all hidden parts dont see that number in any referance? so if someone can help it would be app;ty jim

The 644 is probably an assembly number, as H&R didn't serial number their older revolvers.

Further identification won't be possible without a picture, though, and maybe not then, as H&R made a number of models that look much alike.

Jim

will try to put picks if anyone is interested.ty for info
