Hammer for my range bag

I like the brass & nylon hammer they will fit in a handy box with the rest of your things the nylon keeps from marking thing that you want to keep nice and always use a brass rod that is not two small I have one for 223 243 30cal if the handle is two long cut it off. GOOD LUCK You might find one at Harbor Freight

A little dated, but I thought this might be worth adding. The OP did not say whether the issue was due to bad primer strikes or squibs in general, or if the ammo used is store bought, reloaded, or a mix of both.
he is re-loading; However, I strongly agree with the several posts that suggest a range hammer is not the solution to this issue!
 
I used to have a small, cheap hammer I got from Wally World in my range bag. It was about 6" long, not too special. That and an old aluminum cleaning rod seemed to work just fine for me. They don't have to be heavy or strong, just lightly tap it out slowly. I never had trouble unsticking a case with those tools.
