108th CONGRESS

1st Session

H. R. 124
To provide for the mandatory licensing and registration of handguns.

IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

January 7, 2003

Why hasn't the NRA sent me any info about this? Why is this an issue that I haven't even heard about until I found it on my own today?

I read all the right publications, and thought I got all the right alerts, and then BAM, this hits the radar!

I am also on the gun bill alert list for several Pro-gun orgs. I haven't heard a thing from them. I first read about this on another gun forum.

Disturbing to say the least.

Legislation like this is forever being introduced by the left wing in congress. It has as much chance as a snowballs chance in perdition of getting through!

We should however flood the reps with mail opposing this drivel!

Please read my post titled 'Congressional Update.'

http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=4800

It contains information on this bill, and /OTHER BILLS/, introduced in the current session which would impact your rights.

I am trying to keep that thread current as new bills are introduced. Would the admins be interested in setting up a section on the site dedicated to proposed firearms legislation?
