Changed out the grips on my Contender. Added a Shockwave Blade brace with a Choate M4 grip.

Didn't post this one sooner because of a blurry photo. Took it out yesterday and got some good pix. Have already posted them in the hunting section but this is the handgun pictures section and this is a nice handgun, IMHO, so here's the 44 Mag. 7.5" Redhawk with a 2x Leupold and Hogue grips. Just got it all set to go for deer season in about 3 weeks. All that's needed now is a suitable deer in the crosshairs. IMG_0174.JPG

My dad's Hi-Power is the one in the holster. The other one is mine.

Probably should have been more specific about my picture. I took that because I had just finished sanding and re-staining my grips to match his. (More or less)

This is my CCP
Fits me well in all regards.
I like it better than the Kahr 9 I had on my side for 20 years. Much better trigger too. D599E132-053F-4432-89D8-FD555C46BEA0.jpeg

I've had a hankering for a metal framed, hammer fired 9mm for a while. Ran into this one, a Taurus PT 92 at LGS $300. Its 10 years old and I can't determine anything that would cause me to believe its not brand new, no wear, tear, 100% blue. I fired about 50 rounds through it yesterday without a hitch. I actually hit a paper plate at 10 yards 8 out of 8.

Just some of mine, my small collection of 1911's

Upper Left, Ruger SR 1911 with threaded barrel, Ruger SR 1911 two tone Commander with Crimson Trace grips, Sig Sauer 1911 Commander Size.

Realized I had not taken a picture of the S&W 6904.

My new belt gun, love it! Though I do wish you could bring it to half-cock withe trigger then finish the job with your thumb rather than play musical fingers to achieve the same result. I know this is out there, but if you run across any magazines for a Daewoo DP51 compact they fit and function perfectly in the 6904.

I liked the hammer spur too, Numrich had a few on hand from the 5900 series. The swap is quite easy. Remove the hammer strut, drive pin out, replace with the one from the 6900 and reinstall. About 15 minutes. Didn't know the Daewoo mags fit. Cool! CDNN used to carry the S&W 12 and 10 round versions for these.

opsman

Nice septet of 1911s! Got a favorite from among those great looking autos?

stonebuster

Like all of your wheelguns (especially the Colt Trooper), and the one semi-auto!

Currently I am liking the Sig as it shoots some really tight groups and the Ruger Sr1911 full size it has always been a real nice shooting gun that is why I chose it for running the suppressor
