There is a difference between gains and grams.

Ha ha ha , I'm sure whoever fired that was real shocked and hopefully not seriously injured. I witnessed an incident similar one afternoon at a shooting range . Seems a reloader decided he knew more than all those powder manufacturers and ballistic experts . He under loaded a rifle cartridge with blue dot powder ,as practice loads .
He only did it once ,as the cartridge had a flash over and ripped the bolt out the receiver the Hard Way !.:(
 
I was not privelaged to know them ,I suspect an over charge as it obviously blew out other cartridges but hottly via their cases .

Did witness and under charge which blew up a .223 at a range . We opened an unused round and blue dot in insufficient quanity was determined as a flash over . That AR was Messed Up big time ,not to mention the shooter .
 
Just brought my Man with No Name revolver (Cimarron/Pietta) home. Can't wait to shoot it tomorrow!
