Handgun Pictures

This is my first Ruger Old Model Single Six that I traded for, new in 1962 when I was in high school. It started several years of collecting Old Model Single Action Ruger handguns. Still own this Single Six convertable today. Been many miles together. It is a 6 1/2 " barrel gun with aluminum ejector rod housing and 1/8" small serial numbers made on the change over with part early and part later features

Found this S&W 17-6, in a local classified sale. It has a very light turn ring on the cylinder, otherwise there is no wear. I have been waiting a prelock 617 for a while, but got to where I hate to buy one off the auction sights, because it is a roll of the dice, sending payment and getting it shipped, especially with usps. This one was local, and I was able to lay hands on. There is not many full lug 17-6 for sale, at any given time.

Love Commander length 1911s. Finally found a new Dan Wesson V-Bob, $1700 out the door, for what I thought was a good price. Very well put together and finished. I’ll put a set of nice, wood, double diamond checkered grips on it and not change anything else on it.

Looks much prettier with a set of Cocobolo grips. Nothing beats the look and feel of wood grips.
