Very nice, especially what great condition they're in!

Thanks! I have two boxes of 32 rim fire for the Smith, loaded to the old specs. I wish those two guns could talk, an evening with a cigar, whiskey, and oil lamp light would be great.aargon

Latest gun show pickup. It's a M1917 w/ US markings; SN dates it to 1918. $425 out the door. I'm gonna have a gunsmith go over it before I shoot, but thanks to Indiana Jones I've always wanted one of these and was thrilled to get it for Taurus money. Came with some Pachymar grips that I like but didn't have on for this photo. Plan is to give it a tune-up (but not an action job, just repair/replace/refit so it's in good shooting order) then shoot it a bunch and get a factory letter and unless said letter says it was factory nickeled (extremely unlikely), at some point I'll have it reblued.

Gun show before that was this stupid, marvelous gun. Lots of fun with the .410s; pretty darn accurate with .45 LC.
Please, show the USN marking!Just got a grail gun for me yesterday. It’s a US Navy marked WWII S&W Victory revolver made in 1943 in 38 Special. It was carried by Naval Aviators during the war.

I picked up a Craftsman roller cabinet
I am not a 1911 guy, but you just gotta love a platform that you can build a functioning gun from leftovers.
A man after my own heart, nice knife drawer. I used to have this level of organization, now everything is everywhere and I hate it. Nice collection!View attachment 1256938

I picked up a Craftsman roller cabinet from Lowe's on Sunday. Getting it home was an ordeal...I thought it would be flat-packed (how?? I don't know) and the larger cabinet wouldn't fit in my Challenger. Luckily Lowe's rents trucks for the princely sum of $19.
I'm now using it to store and organize my handguns and knives. The dresser I was previously using for this had sagging drawers from the weight; the 50lb rated drawers should help with this. I love having everything visisble and honestly think it might cut down on impulse buys.
