Ruger SP101

IMG_1592.JPG Just for laughs........... Seen any of these lately? They're sure not as common as they were 25 or 30 years ago. Picked this one up for a song in 1995 and I still don't know why; other than it was cheap. Now it's kept as a curiosity item ever since I've run into younger guys who've heard of them but never seen one in person.

IMG_1596.JPG The 1916 Erfurt Luger I inherited from an uncle. He was at Nordhausen, Germany in 1945 helping to pack up all the V-2 rocket stuff from the V-2 factory and there were some other pieces of "hardware" around. This was in an office area of the factory and it followed him home; I only wish he had gotten capture papers on it but he said everyone was so glad Germany had surrendered and the war was over that nobody bothered with paperwork.

Okay, so I just saw this thread, (I'm still new here) and it's late, so I'll just post one or two, then show a bit more tomorrow. Here's my Baby...

That's my main "Hunter". When I got promoted to Lt., I treated myself to a custom job on this gun.
It came into my hands a stock Super Blackhawk, 7.5" bbl, blued, with a nickel cylinder, and iron sights. I had it given an action and trigger job. It now breaks around 2.5lbs. The finish is a matte stainless, with the chromed flames down the barrel and added muzzle break. DSCN0741.JPG
I had it drilled and tapped, and mounted an EOTech 512 on it. I also wanted a lanyard, so instead of a "teat" on the bottom, it was "scooped out" and a pin added. DSCN0747.JPG And, of course, I had the Maltese Cross with my initials put in the center.

Not Too pimped out! I've taken about 20 deer with this, and can keep my handloads in a paper plate at 100 yds. (Hdy XTP 240gr)...
I've got some interesting other guns. I'll post my list tomorrow if I get a chance.
