Handled a Walther PPS Yesterday.......

    Wow, this thing is much bigger then I thought, thin yes, but by no means tiny. Seems like a nice enough piece but much bigger then I anticipated.

    I looked at one last weekend, and I thought the same thing; this thing is a lot bigger than I thought it was when I first saw it. I think that it's because of the height of the slide that makes it appear to be so much larger than other compact 9mm.s. But I guess in order to make everything else so thin, Walther had to design the slide accordingly. And while the gun is certainly flat, I wouldn't mind having just a bit of curvature to the grip itself; it would just feel a little more natural to me that way.

    There's a good review with comparison pics on sigforum. It's basically the same size as P2000SK or XD9sc.

    Yeah- I expected it to be smaller as well.
