Celebrate freedom, buy a gun.
I did.

I would have waited until tomorrow to pick it up (yeah right), but the shop is closed on the 4th, so I bought a new 1911 today. My fourth 1911 and my second Kimber. Next up is a Springfield Compact in 9mm, followed by another Colt. My G32 is in the corner feeling rejected.

Hey thats a brilliant idea! I did the same thing. Bought a Taurus PT1911 Polished Stainless Steel with gold trim and pearl grips. It should look like nice next to my Colt and Remington.

The godless will say there is no God but as they lay dying they will cry Oh my God have mercy on me, the complainers will gripe and complain about this and that till they finally wake up and look at the world and realize how much we in this country have to be thankful for. We can worship as we want without fear of oppression or being shot or imprisoned, we can voice our opinion without fear of being jailed of even executed for what we say. We can congregate in public without the fear of being shot down in the street as dissidants. We can come and go from our homes and places of business without being persecuted for just simply being where the government says we cannot go. Freedom is bought with the price being "the blood" of those who fought and died to preserve it and that is the highest cost you can ever pay. Freedom is not free. We have so much to be thankful for in this country.

.....And for support of this declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred Honor.

I'm not sure, but this sentence has the feel of Thomas Jefferson about it?

Replace the word "declaration" with " Constitutional Bill of Rights" 233 years later these words are as moving today as they were then.

Long live the American Patriots, past and present, Happy Independence Day!!!

Just got back from the range with my 14 y/o. We shot the evil, black gun and some hand guns. We gave America our own personal 300+ gun salute.
