.........a set of Taurus grips for a S&W snub? I just got a S&W 637 and can't stand the boot grips. But I loved the boot grips from a Taurus 605 ( little fuller, covered backstrap, more cushion). Just out of curiosity I tried fitting them. They fit good. Just have to drill out for a slight difference in pin spacing. Good to know because Taurus does make decent grips. Now I need some S&W medallions. Did just order some grips from a guy in Thailand. But that's another thread.

Please post pics. I miss my Taurus 85. The grips on it were far superior to the ones on my 442.

Haven't gotten to it yet. Drilling part anyway. Grips are a perfect match up until you get to the pin in the lower part of the grip. Actually more secure and locked in.

If you do this (I wouldn't) make sure to check for anything obstructing the movement of the mainspring. I have seen a number of guns that were prevented from firing simply because someone used modified grips. (usually by the screw holding the grips on)
