I ordered a 20" HBAR AR Barrel assembly last tuesday for $250, and $25 for shipping. now for $25 shipping, i would expect it within at least 3 business days. well here it is a week later, and according to my account, it hasn't even left yet. i ordered a stock from them awhile back, and it too was a bit late, until i called them, but i figured it was fluke. I'm not knocking them or anything, but has this happened to anyone else, and is there a particular reason for slow shipping?

I've ordered a number of things from magazines to sights to a .22 lr conversion kit. They have always been prompt. I know they are on the east coast, so they may still be dealing with storm issues.

TrickyDick..... now for $25 shipping, i would expect it within at least 3 business days.

Does Stag promise three days delivery? Nope.
How much do you think it costs to ship a 20" upper assembly via UPS/FedEx/USPS? You aren't getting three day delivery for $25 on that size box.

Lot of assumptions here.

I bought two stag model 8s,a left and a right handed version and the left had some problems such as a terrible trigger and bad upper/lower fit. Customer Service was the worst I have ever encountered from a rifle manufacture in my 40 years of being an avid gun owner and hunter. There are too many good rifles out there to be spending your hard earned money on a rifle whose manufacture does not back its products as advertised.

You know, from time to time, I read posts from folks who've had a bad experience with a company. And, I'm sure it happened. Myself, I've never had a bad experience with a firearms or related equipment manufacturer. Maybe I'm just lucky. But, when one consideres the sheer volume these folks deal with, sometimes dissatisfaction will occur.

Merchandise slips thru quality control that doesn't measure up - people do the quality checks.

Shipping isn't as rapid as one would expect - people do the shipping.

Customer service doesn't make everyone happy - people do customer service.

In other words, people are involved. People make mistakes, or have bad days. If you aren't happy, simply ask to speak to the next higher authority. It's a pretty good bet that you will be satisfied "if" you complaint has merit.

And oh yeah, sometimes companies get complaints that aren't justified - people do the complaining.

Well i finally called them when i posted this, and coincidently, they just happen to ship it later that day. i like their products, but this has happened twice, they didnt ship until i called them. anyways i'm not bashing STAG, but just be aware that their shipping isn't quick.

I have ordered parts from STAG several times and sometimes shipping is a little slow, but they always come through. They have always been great to deal with in my experience.
