Have you ever dreamed of a gun?

As I was tossing and turning in a fitful sleep last night, a vision came to me. The vision was of a pump action rifle, chambered in .35 whelen. I dreamt that such a firearm had a convenient folding stock

It turns out that such a beastie exists. The Remington 7600 came in such a configuration. . . but not in the last 5 years. So now I am in the dubious position of lusting after a used firearm.

Anyone have expirience with them? Anyone ever dream about a firearm you wanted? Do I have an incurable case of The Bug?

I dream about guns all of the time. Real guns, just ones I can't afford right now. But I do have sweet dreams about them...ah...

Yeah all the time, and sometimes in my dreams for example I'm loading a revolver with all sorts of mis-matching rounds but it still works, I'm horrified my sleeping self doesn't know any better, haha.

I've had a few I remember guns in but nothing really specific to any real life guns.


In one I can remember being in a gun shop or museum of some sort looking over and handling various revolvers and old western type rifles.

In another I buy a pistol and detail strip it but then when I go to put it back together it has all these small intricate parts and I can't remember how they go together.

In another I'm wiping down some pistols and putting them in dresser drawer, then something happens where I need a gun but when I go to the drawer to get one they're not there and I start frantically searching through all the drawers trying to find my guns.


Those are the only ones I can remember with any clarity but I do seem to remember guns in other dreams but can't remember the specifics.

mainly my gun-related dreams are of running out of ammo. Besides that, it's mainly mg42's, MK14's, and 1911's. And whatever gun I just got or am soon to get!

as far as dreaming up a new gun, I don't guess a 1911 that's legal for a 16 year old to concealed-carry counts, does it???

My gun dreams always seem to involve malfunctions or jams which happen almost every time I fire. I clear the jam, shoot a monster, gun jams and repeat.
