Have you ever had your receiver fixed by the manufacturer?

Was wondering if anyone had to resend their lower reciever frames to get fixed or exchanged?

Is it expensive? Would it be the same price as a full assembled gun?

If you're referring to Glocks, used to be that if you wanted to update your 1st or 2nd generation frame, Glock would do it for $150. You send them the gun, they switch out the frame and internals, reassemble and send you back a gun with mismatched SNs. The original frame is destroyed. They didn't just let you buy frames outright and have them shipped to FFLs.

Back in the day, Glockmeister used to offer receivers alone for about that same price. But they stopped carrying guns, so they don't do this anymore. I think a complete lower was something like $200.
