Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

Ammo, an extra magazine for my new-to-me Sphinx SDP, and a replacement mini gunvault (my 10-year old one crapped out and I did *not* want to re-drill new holes to secure a different model).

4 wing Musket caps and I had to call three LGS’s and drive 30 miles round trip to get 100 of those. Musket caps!!! Powder Inc and Graff both out of stock.! Good grief our logistics in the US of A has gone to spit.

I haven't bought anything gun related in the past three years, unless you want to count renewing my WAC membership. Sadly I haven't been there to shoot in about the same time.

Would love to hear an update on how you like them?
Well they wouldn't cycle in a Mossberg or Beretta gas gun. I think they came close to cycling in my Beretta A300, maybe a little more opphm and they would have ejected all the way. They did better than Aguila mini bird shells. They did run fine in my shooting friends Interia CZ shotgun. I'll just end up having using them when we have new folks out sporting clay shooting with us and letting them try a light round. They are 3/4 oz 1300 fps rated. $6 a box from ammoshoponline.com

Health issues, they closed for a bit because of the damned virus, reopened with every other lane blocked.
WAC is an outdoor range with multiple fans blowing down range. Virus would hit the target line before most of the bullet.
Yeah, that's an exaggeration

Six boxes ammo at LGS all different calibers. Good selection and supply there but still limited to one box per most calibers.

Thanks for the update. I heard some mini shells work well in break action shotguns and some auto loaders and pumps. But some really very in velocity and jam in auto loaders.
Thanks again for sharing your experience.

I am afraid not. There is nothing gun related around here. No stores or such. I seldom venture into town. I sure miss the gun stores of yore. You remember them, small shop, owned by a an old guy wearing a tartan flannel shirt and smoking a pipe. The place smelling of powder solvent, tobacco smoke and sweat. Interesting old long guns in the rack- a Krag, a Winchester '92 or maybe a '95. Pistol case with old colts SAA and a few DA six guns. Maybe a 1911 or two. The occasional Luger brought home by a Veteran. You could talk for hours over serious subjects such as "Is the Johnson Semi-Auto rifle better than the Garand? ". Those days and those places are gun forever.

Ordered a "Clamp a Rib" from Add a Rib, for a plain 870 barrel. Should be perfect for our club's league which only shoots 16 and 20 yards. Adjustable for POI and with mid and front beads. I'm an experimenter. My first trap gun was a 37 Winchester with a High Standard rib I silver soldered on, a lace on cheek piece, a lace on pad and a trigger shoe (1968,). More fun to come.

Hi...
Made a road trip to my preferred cast bullet supplier on Saturday.
Bought 2,000 bullets...9mm, .38/357, .41Mag and .44Mag calibers. With what I have stockpiled previously(in .45ACP, 10mm and 45Colt), I should be good until mid September at current rates of consumption.

And then it will be time to stock up again.

AR wall mount using the mag well.
I'm going to have to check that out...is it concealed?

Bought a flat of Fiocchi 12ga target loads for $100. I'm hoping the price goes back down to $85, I have a hard time spending triple digits and not feeling guilty, that's $50 per shoot, plus the range fee.

yesterday i bought: one Walther-Colt 1911 in .22, one 500 round box of blazer, one 100 round box of CCI mini-mag, and one "bore badger" that i'm skeptical about. my wife informs me i won't be buying anything else for awhile.

Just picked up 300rds of #8 shot Federal Top Gun for my 12GA. $8.99/25rd box. Not a bad find in today's climate. It will keep me shooting trap for a while anyways.... lucky score. Checked a place that never has em in stock and managed to score. Almost didn't stop by either....
