What did you trade?

I traded off my Walther CCP. I really liked this little pistol but arthritis has done a number on the thumb of my shooting hand and It had become unpleasant to shoot it. No comment yet on what I traded for as I haven't shot it yet. I went strictly by the feel when I gripped it compared to the Walther. If I get the time I'll know this afternoon if I made a good choice.

Unfortunately:
A club member was selling huge cases of .22 (CMP Federal) from the back of his truck, plus the five boxes to the side. There were still tightly-sealed cardboard when I bought them.
*Corroded brass on my 1,500 rds. It must have been in the truck or a garage (?) for quite a while.

Luckily I only spent $100, as it double-feeds every 7-10 shots with a rock solid >> death grip << on the Ruger Mark IV.
This gun (thanks to my Shortening the Recoil Spring) has been 99% reliable with all new, bulk commercial .22 LR ammo bought in Academy etc.

It's nice that this is only about 15% of my total .22 ammo. I let him know today in a polite text that he might want to check his Other ammo. No reply...

Nice find! And nice girlfriend. My BIL bought his 12 and 14 year old sons 20 ga. pump shotguns, then my dad got them a clay pigeon machine. Then they realized they couldn't get any 20 ga. ammo. Those boys are going to be future hoarders, lol.
