Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

I ordered up 3200 rounds or .22LR from Federal Ammunition. Not very exciting but I will put it to good use.

I bought the long suffering Mrs Canasta an early holiday gift last week & gave it to her today. She shoots my 45 1911’s very well & has mentioned wanting one in 9mm. I found a Dan Wesson Vigil new in the box for a couple hundred off msrp so it came home with me.
She put 200 rounds through it this morning & her groups just kept getting tighter as she went-I believe it’s the perfect combination of size/weight/caliber for her & she’s very happy with it & named it Virgil:)

A pack of Squirrel Daddy replacement decapping pins for the Lee Universal decapping die. Hopefully these won’t bend into a horseshoe if a Berdan primed 9mm sneaks into the prep pile like last time.

At the last three gun shows - in the past three weeks - I haven't found any guns, but I scored a number of rounds for my abbreviated cartridge collection.
Eleven rounds of 8x50mm Lebel ammunition; three were recent manufacture PPU rounds, four were fired and reassembled cases with early projectiles and several (I'm not looking at them right now) were cupro-nickel jacketed, French head stamped rounds with the annular ring for use in the Kropatschek magazine of the M1886 Lebel rifle.
A large number of .25 ACP rounds, many with cupro-nickel jackets. I do not have a count, but I have several "C. C. Co" head stamps with old type jackets, and a few Norma versions of the .25 ACP.
That will keep me busy for a few days, sorting and identifying all of them.

Swaging tool to take the dimples out of late model 870/1100 shotgun mag tubes so I can put on extensions. Loading tubes for my ml deer gun.

Yesterday I ordered several packages of spare springs for my Remington 700's.

Today I will pick up 2 rifles that I left with a local rifle builder. One is a 700PSS thats getting a new Krieger barrel. The other is a new Remington 40X action thats also getting a Kreiger barrel. I'm kind of excited!

Didn't buy it, but won a Kahr CW9 at a Outlaw Defensive Pistol Match sponsored by Kahr and the transfer just came through. Funny thing, it only comes with one mag, and that mag has a metal pin sticking out of the follower and won't let the follower go down into the mag, so it only will accept one round. I sent an email to Kahr service. We will see what happens.

Update, they are sending me a new follower. No questions asked. Just making it right.

$85 for 2 Shield Arms 15 round mags for my Glock 48 (yup, got the metal mag release!). Now a total of 4 of those & 3 Glock OEM mags. Also a bit after getting the Glock I got a nice Blackhawk T Series holster that works great.

I love my 48 but sometimes I wonder if I should have gotten the 43. But, I really like the 48 & use it as a regular sidearm while hunting & camping & will use it for CCW if/when I get my permit.

I went to a new store grand opening and purchased two boxes of 7mm Remington Mag, 4 boxes of 9mm, four hundred small rifle primers, 1 box of 800 round Federal .22, and # 11 primers for my old muzzle loader.

I also just yesterday bought a Tactacam 5.0 to record my hunts.

Not a purchase, but I was gifted these on Sunday, both BP, one a Hawes Firearms import in .36 Navy, hex barrel. The other a Navy Arms in .44 Army, round barrel. Also a Stevens 940E single shot 20ga that some nimrod cut down way too short so looking for a barrel for it. I guess they thought it looked cool with the pistols despite the 100 year disparity!
