I dropped this in on Thursday and had an iron sight only, 200 yard match today. Worked very well. Unfortunately our Team Captain was using an M1A and something must have broke loose. He was shooting very well and suddenly his group opened up to 10 feet! Needless to say rifle was hard down, so we did not win.

Wow! Well about the only advice that I can give you is to load but 1 round in the cylinder until you are comfortable with it. Other than that me thinks you'll have a blast.....

I wanted to work my way up with a .357 and .44 but couldn't ever find a good price on one that and seeing a 500 in person finally set it in stone so I went looking and saw one at a good price.
That and my 2nd hand gun I ever purchased was a desert eagle as well and I like recoil and I've started making my own rounds soo go big or go home right? Lol

Yes sir I shot some ARMSCORE (theses rounds honstly felt like i was shooting a 9mm compared to the degale i shot just before) out of it for the first rounds and was very disappointed in the recoil and they didn't burn fully or well at all came to find out that's just trash rounds for the 500 so once I make my own I'll finally be able to actually have a full taste of the 500
