I want to radius my trigger for my S&W 617 so I picked up an old style trigger from E-bay. I refuse to work on the original parts when you can get replacements for good prices. Tomorrow I'll get out my files and polishing wheel to get it down to a smaller diameter.

While I am waiting for my Bond Arms Derringer, I nabbed these used grips off ebay for $23 including taxes and shipping.

Some Starline 6.5 Grendel brass. And an AR scraper tool for those BCG nooks and crannies.

Went to the FFL/LGS today and picked up another Tisas Tanker 1911 along with a couple other used 1911 transfers that came in.
But one cool thing I did see was this guy picking up a new Marlin .45-70 Trapper outfitted with Ranger Point Precision furniture. It looked blasphemous and marvelous at the same time. This is a close approximation of what it looked like, but it looked much much better in person than the pictures show. Start the gnashing of teeth in 3,2,1...:fire:

A few more rounds of Hornady 6mm ARC. Reloading the brass will bring the average cost per round down significantly.

Made a deal with one of the members here buying a pistol from him. It's one of those European made pistols of early last Century in .25 ACP, that monstrous wooly bugger of a round. As usual in my life, it's complicated and intra-state, so I'll have to wait a week or two.

RCBS neck size only die for the 7.62x54R cartridge. Got it from Graf & Sons. Never saw one for that round and I like them better than just backing off a full length sizer die. They seem to work great on rimmed rounds, as I discovered back when I did a lot of 22 Hornet and 303 British. They all headspace on the rim and it seems you can just keep neck sizing them and they still fit the chamber of the same gun easily. I like using brass fireformed to my chamber and old mil-surps, and old 22 Hornets, (Savage Mod. 23-D) all seem to have chambers that are slightly on the generous side of the specifications. 2 20 round mags for my mini. They were pro-mags. Ran them today. No issues.

My co-worker's husband sold me his reloading gear.
    • A Lee Breech Lock Challenger press and related gear,
    • Lee shell holder set, primer set, case trimmer set, primer pocket cleaner, chamfer tool and set of.223 dies,
    • A sealed pound each of Bullseye, CFE223, IMR 4320 and Win 748,
    • A digital micrometer and scale,
    • 15 pounds of .223 brass and four pounds of mixed pistol brass,
    • Lyman's Reloading handbook - 49th edition
    • a box of PMC Bronze 9mm,

Not bad for seventy-five bucks... .

I just had 2 boxes of 150 gr Hornady Interlocks #3031 delivered yesterday.

I was only going to get one box but free shipping over 49 bucks piqued my interest.

These are for my National Ordnance 1903A3.

These bullets printed sub minute at 200 yards so the old 1944 Remington 2 groove barrel still doing ok.

The gun is actually a POS parts gun gifted to me.
I just like it and love shooting it after having the headspace checked.

This rifle will be my old mans / young kids early rifle doe season gun of choice for Oct 20.

The .44 Henry will just have to wait
