Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

Because of an “oval-shaped”, tiny Stress opening in the (CZ PCR’s) “firing pin Retainer Pin”…

;)which is very common in these Czech OEM pins, and can occur with far Less than 800 rounds total used-even with moderate dry-firing….

….I just Ordered a pair of $5.00 replacement pins from the Very popular firm Cajun Gun Works. Their pins are manufactured with harder metal:) and it is very common advice to replace the Original factory pin- no matter your round count- with a harder, modern version.

You can Easily use a 1/8” punch to gradually tap your retainer pin out, for inspection. Check Youtube.
Such an inspection is Highly Recommended with the CZ-75 series.
Despite this issue, they are excellent guns and I prefer them to any other handgun (except my old CZ-83: the ergos).

Two bricks (1000 rounds) of Norma Tac 22LR. Currently it's the least expensive .22 available here, 39€ per brick including tax. Standard velocity, very reliable and runs smoothly in my semiauto target pistols. Now if I only could find some Federal American Eagle! My .22 silhouette pistols love it but it has become ubotanium.

Think I forgot to post this, but here goes. Only problem it is an April 2015 gun, a few months before the updated main spring, so will need the update as it has loosened and allows the hammer to follow back to half cock sometimes. Fine for range, but not for carry. Shoots real nice and accurately. Sig P938. 9mm.

Browsing Cabela's with my brother-in-law picked up a Lb of powder since it was there, a Bianchi 1911 holster and some .38 Special ammo for my son-in-law (stocking stuffer). I normally just hand load 50 rounds for the kid but forgot to bring them so he got store bought. :) I also helped a friend out buying a .38 Special S&W revolver from them. It's actually a beater but for a few hundred bucks why not? Waiting on my Birthday Feb 7th to buy a holster and a few more things from Midway with my birthday deals. :) Brother in law got a nice deal on a like new Beretta 92 FS with original box and three factory magazines.
