Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

Herrett's 'Shooting Stars". I have them on many of my revolvers. The best fitting grips for revolvers (for the revolver and my hand) I've found.

Bought another Savage 1907 pistol at a Gun Show yesterday.
By serial number, made in 1917 and appears to be very lightly used. Possibly due to the recoil spring being somewhere around thirty pounds (!) and the trigger pull between eight and fifty-six point seven pounds.
All the Savage pistols I own have 'substantial' trigger pulls; this one is the topper.

And I might add, look really sweet on that fine Model 28 of yours too !

Yes, a spare metric FAL bolt, simply as "insurance".

The overall rifle's condition (SAR-4800) is excellent, but the bolt and bolt carrier somehow have a lot of wear.

The original bolt's Lower Lip, which pushes/strips cartridges from the magazine has eroded to the point that it is very thin, and is somewhat rounded.

These tilting bolts' lower lips slam into the angled ramp in the bottom of the receiver during each cycle.:scrutiny:

Just sold two guns to cover 75% of the cost. Springfield Standard model.
I'm 67 and it's my first of the M-14 / M1A type. About time....

This business has the lowest-priced "Buy Now" "Standard" on Gunbroker, and the same store (Abiline) has two more of these with --only-- the Buy Now option.
