Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

Didn't buy but a friend gave me two boxes of flex tip 45-70 bullets which I will load for my lever gun. He has a bunch of factory loaded stuff and as he only shoots four or five shots a year (one shot, one deer), he figured he wouldn't be reloading.

Great gift! Factory 45-70 ammo is pricey.

Bought a nice 1938 vintage Remington Model 37 Rangemaster .22 target rifle at our gun show Dec. 15th. Had a 15x Lyman Super Targetspot worth more than I paid for the rifle and scope! One issue; it was missing both the magazine or single shot adapter! And both cost from $325-$450 used!!! Yikes!
I found a repro of the single shot adapter at Steve Earle Products for a fraction of the used prices, and much nicer made too! It arrived in the mail today, so heading out Friday with various .22LR ammo to see how the 37 groups!
Gun also came with Freeland adjustable buttplate, and two different plates, plus two different palm rests for offhand shooting.

On way back home from a post Christmas break stopped by a small town sporting goods store. Vice and stand were being blown out for $99 as a combo. Over $220 at normal prices individually.

Truth is I didn’t really need it but at that price I’ll gift it to a friend.

Stand is rock solid and legs lock positively into place. Folds quickly when not in use if you need the floor space

Our family heirloom Colt 1903 pocket turned 100 years old in November. To celebrate I plunked down $80.00 and got the factory letter as a special "birthday present" for the weapon we long ago named Honey. We found out she was shipped to Shapleigh Hardware Company in St. Louis, MO Nov. 20, 1924. The kids and I went shooting last Saturday and ran two boxes of .32 ACP through her without a hiccup or glitch. We have proof that she was in our late Uncle's possession at least by 1960...but never learned how she was acquired before he passed in 2001.

I don't have any photos yet but I ordered a new soft side gun case for Savior products. My TSA rated hardside gun case is just too big, bulky and heavy to be used regularly. I have heard good things about Saviour rifle cases. I hope they are correct.

Finally got a couple Tipton carbon fiber cleaning rods.
A 12" .27-.45 for the pistols and a 26" .22-.26 for the rifles.
Eventually I'll also get ones for the .22 pistols and .30 rifles, but I figured if cheap three-piece ones can handle a .30 rifle, a nice single-piece can handle it in the meantime.

Got one of those very inexpensive wooden handgun display racks off Amazon. The bones are good, solid wood but the included hardware sucks. Used my own longer torx head deck screws, wood glue, and fashioned my own drawer pull because the chintzy little knob it comes with just strips out of the tiny phillips head wood screw that is supposed to secure it.

Fits full size pistols great.
