Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

Not sure if this technically counts, but this morning went to the Sheriff's office to apply for a permit to purchase a handgun. Got there at about 10:30am. Got a call from them just before 2pm to say it was ready to pick it up. When I went there this morning, I was told it could take a couple days. Even they were shocked how fast it was. Application fee was only $5. Good for 3 years so that's nice.

Title could be , how were you hassled to buy something gun related.

I sent in an order to Midway for some Glock accessories to support more GSSF shooting.

But the Rest Of The News is the delivery of some ordinary household goods from Amazon today.
They were in the usual padded envelope for stuff not bulky enough to call for a box.
I pulled the tear strip to open it... and several of my items fell out the unsealed bottom of the envelope.
I counted against my order and nothing was lost in transit, but it was still unsettling.

I bought a 3M stair tread panel yesterday. They are relatively cheap at $9 out the door and my local home improvement store. It is large enough that you can cut a variety of shapes out, which the tape often is not. The adhesive is aggressive to support harsh environments and use. I cut out a piece for the front strap of a P16. Another thinner strip went around the mag extension - Keeps it in the left side knee pocket of my pants and makes it easier to grab if I need it.
