In the last two-three years I've used only basic Breakfree CLP spray for cleaning/protection, and as lube, the reddish Mobile One on the rails.
CZ "PCR' 75D, '94, Sig P228 and '01 P6, plus imported AKs and Yugo SKS. I freq. read that Breakfree CLP is so-so in all three areas.

Have you seen/felt advantages when using SEAL One a few times? My only info is from videos with Mr. Dwight Settle and feedback on Amazon etc.

Most of us are not naiive enough to try any product based on its title, nor the owner's spec ops background, and don't felt seduced by the magic words "gun product" (which for many, guarantees pre-Roman Druidic powers).

Other than MPRO-7 bore cleaner, I don't use any cleaning products marketed as "gun cleaners" or lubes. I use white lithium grease from auto zone on moving parts on autoloaders (doesn't evaporate or fly off), and cheap motor oil applied with a paint brush for exterior rust prevention. My guns run fine. I used about every product at one time or another in the military. Some were excellent, some were mediocre. I would still use them if I could still get them for free, but I can't. So I use what is available and cheap that works.

Which particular species of seal do they extract the oil from? :D

Sorry (sorta) to be snarky, but we’ve been down this road a few times.

Till I did a search after reading this post I didn’t know they made anything other than patches. I have bought their patches good quality at a decent price

Never heard of SEAL One products, sorry.

For years now I'm using products from G96. IMO they make good stuff and it smells good too. (sorta like bubblegum) I also use white lithium grease on rails and such, works great in the M1 Garand.
