Im working on refinshing a Hawkins .45 for my dad for fathers day. I need a rear sight and the packing rod (I think that is what its called). Can anyone give me some help. Theis was my first refinishing job feedback is welcome.

I believe your gun is actually a CVA Kentucky pistol.

You may be able to get the parts you need from Deer Creek Products. They don't have a web site but you can call them directly at 765-525-6181. Fine folks, well worth the time to get to know.
