Picked up some more cameras recently, (Moultrie 880i), needed some security boxes before putting them out. Started with rectangular 1/4" wall tubing with a slide out access door. Boxes will be lag bolted to trees or fence posts. Added an access hole in the bottom for a solar charger to plug into the bottom of the camera. Not perfect, but it should deter most light fingered thieves.

Looks really good. Should hold up very well. You may want more mounting holes in the back, spread out. What did you use to cut the top cover plate with, water jet? Nice and clean.

No water jet, just a plasma torch and dressed up the opening with an end mill.

Yours is Mo' Better . . .

Wow, that's some neat construction.

Much nicer than the one I made from pieces of bed frame —

The little notch which is visible at the bottom of the box is for attaching an external battery or solar charger.

Voila! Not so pretty, but still functional.

My only complaint is that it's heavy, making it a pain to haul it very far on foot.
