Heads Up, You Balisong Fools

I've owned several of their pieces over the decades and incarnations of the company. I retain two. One is a large wee-hawk marked "Bali-Song Inc." bought it in the early 80's. It was expensive then and I've seen them sell for insane prices to collectors in the last couple years. I, of course, have no desire to sell mine no matter what it might bring; I much prefer to keep it as a memento of my youth and some very good years.
The other, which I bought 2 or 3 years ago IIRC, has a titanium handle and a springloaded latch and a bunch of other improvements over the older one. It has an interesting blade too, which is kind of a modified wee-hawk with more belly. Like a lot of their balis in the last 10 years or so, it was produced in limited numbers. It wasn't cheap, either, but in the ensuing years I'd moved up enough in the economic food chain that purchasing it wasn't an expenditure that required agonizing deliberation. Despite all the improvements, I don't have the attachment to it that I do to my old Jody Samson-made "boat anchor."
