I just won my 3rd Smith 3rd gen "this month" on one of the big auction sites. Now I have the entire Chief Special line. The CS9, CS40, and CS45 as well as my 3913LS and 4013TSW. All three of the Chiefs are blued with the single side safety which I prefer on a IWB carry gun. I bought these guns so fast I still haven't picked up the CS40 or the CS45 I won today. I can't wait to take all 3 to the range as I haven't even shot the CS9 yet!!!! I will post pic's once the family is all together.

P.S even tho I know I have an "issue" I might get a 4513 (or TSW) to round out the other guns.

Hi mike......you're with friends here.......

Yep, birds of a feather.

I am not a fan of the Smith autoloaders, but they are really good guns and can be picked up very reasonable. Great guns for the money if they fit you.

The first step is admitting you have a problem. The second step is stocking up on ammo.

Thanks for the pics...Is it the pic, but it appears you need hands of the late Andre the Giant to grip those "puppies"....True?:)

Grips

I can't really tell you about the CS40 and CS45 grip yet but the CS9 is perfect for me. By the way I'm not too far off of Andre the Giant at 6'5" 215 pounds.

Na

I am over 12 rigs and I am just warming up. I tend to get caught up in things like the time I got into double barrel shotguns, Sako's, or AR-15's, or HK's. At least this is a cheaper addiction. The HK fad I had was WAAAAAAY more expensive, then you add in the divorce cost for bringing home a 1 in 200 HK 43 that cost me $4500 back in the days of the ban. I tried to play it off like I had had the gun forever (mental note... remove reciept from your pocket prior to going home)

I actually had to sign a contract with the wife not to buy until 2010 with my last purchase. The guy at the counter had to sign it also. He looked at me like are you fricking serious, I said dead serious look at her!

Yo mama, you broke a cardinal rule of gun purchasing: NEVER bring your wife into the gunshop when buying a gun, unless it's for her.

I admit I'm guilty of using Obama as an excuse to tell my wife why I need this or that gun. I mean it's not entirely unfounded. :)

Yo Mama

That was the funniest thing I have heard in a long time. I showed my girlfriend this thread and she found it pretty funny too. Although you may have given her an idea I don't want her to have........ :(

Only 3 this month? I thought you said you had an addiction?

Okay, now that's funny.

I bought 5 guns, day after Thanksgiving, and two more yesterday. at a gun show. Oh, and I almost forget...there was one a few weeks ago from a pawnshop. There is really a very simple solution to this whole issue...All you have to do is change the definition of "addiction". I don't think 8 in a month is too many...maybe 10-15, but not 8! I know I don't have a problem...I'm perfectly in control of my hobby....:neener:
