Welcome to THR. Lots of good knowledgeable people here. Enjoy the stay and feel free to ask anything you wish to. There are no dumb questions here. Learning is going on continuously and never stops. Has anyone told you about your duties as a new member?

First and foremost is to buy a box of ammo for each of the first 6 people to reply in your first thread.

Would like to know a bit about you and what type of firearms you have,like to shoot, or are thinking about getting. Compete at all or thinking about it? Lots of friendly folks who take starters under their wing and educate you in the ways of what it takes to compete and what coach your shooting skills if needed. Exposes you to more folks and lets you mingle in a relaxed atmosphere. Started out with basic equipment for IDPA and then graduated to better equipment once I really got going in the sport. Also a good excuse to "get one more" toy to play with. Like the National Inquirer, we just have to know. Your job, should you accept it, is to give us a range report on a gun you have. This post will self destruct in 5 seconds. :D
 
I guess I'll use this thread to introduce myself as well.
lurked for a while, decided to register.
I'm originally from VT, but now living in the Commiewealth of MA.
