That's tough. Guess I am fortunate that I am at a point in life I can set aside a little "mad money" that can be used for such impulse purchases that will not affect the bottom line. There will be a multitude of other chances in the future so all is not lost here. Use this as a chance to build up the cash for next time.
I predict that some day in the future you can tell of the times you belonged to the gun-of-the-month club.

This is the morale of the thread, I guess. But just as often as I miss out on a good find by hesitating, I also avoid bad decisions by sleeping on it.

Ya, the Colt was gone today, but there will be others.

So missed out on these, but found two nice Rugers in two weeks. Not a bad score....

I can relate, I have a tendency to sometimes overthink purchase decisions. Is it a good deal, will it appreciate, is the actual condition what it looks like? By the time I've decided, it's gone.

But, there's always another one.
