Help identify this 1911 barrel

I posted a couple days ago about an Ithaca 1911 I just got and Im trying to learn as much about it as I can. It seems to be an all originial Ithaca 1911 britsh lend lease. All of the markings seem correct, however the barrel is not marked with a P but an L. I have attached pics of both sides. On the right side it looks like it is possibly stamped with the same half cross cannon mark as on the frame and the left side has a very clear L, it also has a stamp that i cannot make out on the left side. I cannot find any info on a "L" stamp. Does anyone know what these markings are? I cannot imagine that its not originial. It even came with 2 originial mags marked with the P on the lip. Any infor would be great or if someone knows where I may be able to find the info would also be great. thanks.

Could that be a 7 and not a L? In general most Ithica guns used a H.S. marked barrel.
