Help me with a 308...

Well, as im building my AR i want a cheapy 308 pefereably semi auto... im willing to spend up to 650 but i dont really know whats good and what isnt... any help is appreciated....

only one semi auto 308 I can think of in that price range would be a remington,

or you can buy a siaga, I don't own one, but I've shot one, and it was a pretty decent shooter for around 3 bills new, and I hear you can get 20 round mags for them now,


you might be able to find one of the remington semi used for a decent price also.

Nevermind, come to think of it, I just paid $600 for my metric FAL 308.

You can get a new Saiga for under 400.
Used CETMEs and FALs can be found for under 650. Some of them need work, some have been nice shooters right off the bat.
