So I took the bolt apart, cleaned it,a reinstalled. I don't like letting the gun set with the firing spring compressed, so I dry fired it. The BOLT GOT STUCK!! I dry fired it before with no issues. The bolt lifts about halfway through the cam, and stops. It doesn't matter how hard I yank, it won't cam open. I fiddled and fiddled, and it finally opened. I again took the bolt apart to make sure there weren't any obstructions inside the bolt. It was clean. This time I completely tore the safety apart. I inserted the bolt naked without the firing pin/spring, safety, ect, and it's smooth as silk. It's late so it's sitting like this until morning. I've read that there can be trigger issues when this happens, I'm not certain as I've never had issues before. I'm going to keep putting the bolt back together piece by piece, as I try running the bolt. BUT, AS I MENTIONED, the only time I have issues is after a dryfire, so this all seems like a waste to me. Maybe I'm wrong lol.

If anyone has had this happen before, please feel free to chime in. As I'm totally lost to how this just magically started after a cleaning. And I know it's installed correctly.

The simple/safe way to release the spring is noted in the previous post.
When you dry fire, do you have a dummy cartridge in the chamber? If not, make up a dummy or use a previously fired case and try dry firing with that in the chamber.
You can also cycle the bolt and then hold the striker knob and ease the spring while pulling the trigger.

Please report back.

Ok, so, the issue seems to be with the trigger. When I close the bolt, while keeping the trigger compressed, bolt opens. If I simply dry fire, while keeping the trigger compressed, bolt opens. If I let go of the trigger the bolt locks up. But, if I compress the trigger, it opens. Def a trigger issue related to the sear correct?

I think I found the happy spot. I started playing with the adjustment on the back of the Timney until I found the sweet spot where everything worked. What's odd is I never messed with anything on the trigger to cause the issue, only stripped and cleaned the bolt.

Take a look at the Timney website, they mention a problem like this, IFRC there is some removal of material involved to correct the issue.

Sorry for not mentioning that in this post. It was mentioned in a different thread but I didn't transfer it to this thread.
At first I honestly didn't think it was trigger related at all. It's functioned properly for years, but then suddenly after bolt disassembly and cleaning, it suddenly has this issue. Didn't make sense to me at all.
