Ok, I have the bolt and new firing pin in front of me right now. Everything came apart easily, and the repair looks very simple but...

I pulled the old firing pin out, and under it is a spring assembly with a bent piece holding the spring in place. I pulled it out, and can't remember which way it goes in. Convex side facing the firing pin, or facing the bolt. Anybody have any experience here?

I don't remember either...when I have issues with Ruger MK autos I refer to :

The Mod and owner Bullseye is aces on Ruger pistols and has extremely well done photos posted to help with disassembly or reassembly problems.
Hop on over and poke around. You should find what you need.

Cool. Thanks Jack. It's working just like it did 30,000 rounds ago.
