Hello everyone, I recently got a form 4 back on a .30 call can and now I have the bug so I'm wanting to submit a form 1 to make myself a .22 cal suppressor. I already have a trust set up that I used for my suppressor and SBR, and I see that the eForm is up for Form 1s so I figure I might as well give that a try. I ran into a problem when I got to the Line Item step. When I click add firearm it ask for the manufacture. I am trying to put the name of my trust, since I'll be making it from scratch and not modifying an existing firearm(such as when making an SBR), but it ask me to verify the manufacture before moving on and it can't verify because my trust isn't already in their system. What should I do? Also, I have gotten an SBR Form 1 back that I paper filed for making an SBR, so should my trust name show up? What have other people making Form 1 suppressors done?

Also I'm kinda thinking about going ahead and making two suppressors. Do I need two separate Form 1s or can I do two items on one Form 1?

Thanks for any help!

Never mind the second question, I just read instruction 2a, and it says separate form for each firearm.

That guide looks good, but doesn't address the specifics of making a suppressor on form 1, its for making an SBR.

wally, are there things specific for a supressor that I need to keep in mind while filling out a Form 1?

I've never done form 1 for a suppressor so I'm not sure how it needs to be done, but if you make a mistake on E-forms you get denied and get to start over at the end of the line. They do refund your $200 in a fairly timely manner.

Its worth trying to find some examples before you get started, which is why I looked at the link as I've a buddy ,who after doing his SBR, is thinking about doing a suppressor (he has a fully equipped machine shop with CNC).
