I hope that there is someone out there that can help me with this issue I am having. I need to adjust the sights on my MAS 36. It is hitting approximately 6 inches high and 4 inches to the right of point of aim at 50 yards. I don't see any way to adjust for windage on these rifles.

Other than this minor issue, the rifle is definitely a shooter. At 100 yards, it prints 2 inch groups with Prvi 139gr ball ammo. Please advise as to how to solve this problem, and your advice is greatly appreciated!!!

If I remember correctly there are different rear sight apertures to adjust for left/right. Dunno if there is any place to find them, if you find some let us know. Can't remember about elevation

Elevation and windage were regulated with changing out rear sight apertures.

In one instance I drilled out the original aperture to accept a small cap screw that I had drilled my own aperture in

You might also want to try it with the bayonet (if you have one) attached. Generally, the point of aim will change with the bayonet 'ready', though I don't know if this is true with the MAS 36 in particular because of it's unique bayonet storage/attachment. Can't hurt to give it a try.

Can we see a picture of your sight, here does it look like mine, if so then it`s you adjust your sight picture.

Really?

That joke is so old and lame it doesn't make you look witty and smart. Rather it makes you look like a complete newborn to all things internet.

Its like the geico commercial. You think this is funny? What have you been living under a rock?

Here's things you never hear said.

Italian weapons should be watched as they're prone to changing sides and shooting their owners in the back mid fight.

American weapons are only good for so long. Or until they get tired and pack up for home

British guns should only be used to protect economic interests.

And lastly Russian and German guns are only good for shooting at each other and murdering unarmed dissident and undesirables

Thank you for the help!!! It is the standard MAS 36 rear sight. Yeah, I will have to call Sarco, Numrich or someone else that stocks parts for these rifles.

I don't want to throw in the towel on this rifle. It really is an accurate shooter, and is fun to fire.
