Huh? "Surprise remarks?"

I may be mistaken, but the "Thank You" at the bottom of the page looks like Giffords' handwriting.

I truly pray that woman is allowed to live her life in peace and not paraded as a puppet any longer. The stress she's going through now makes me both wince and loathe those who are using her. Are they trying to make her a martyr?

The second technique is to say anything or use anyone to achieve your goal. Truth to a socialist atheist is say or do whatever's necessary to accomplish their goal. There is no such thing as God, or right or wrong. To an atheist, we're nothing more than graduate animals, mere accidents of nature. Truth is a relative term. "Truth" then, is working for total governmental control, and it's obvious to the Left that the "end justifies the means."

Because as an atheist, there's no way I could possibly be a moral person who values truth and individual liberty. No more money. No more support, or recommending their organization as an alternative to the NRA to those who dislike certain tactics of that organization. Can anyone recommend a national level pro-2A organization that will take my money and fight the good fight while leaving religion out of it?
 
Tell me about it. Lesbian, pagan (not the nu-age silliness) here. The demarcation of "socialist" atheist is skinny at best. . .

So far i haven't seen any of this type of nonsense coming from the second amendment foundation but i can't guarantee it isn't there. It worries me greatly that people who would write that kind of idiotic nonsense are spokesman for gun rights. The greatest irony is how willfully ignorant they are of the religious views of the most prominent founding fathers who gave us the second amendment to begin with.
 
I am an atheist so.....somehow......I love government control???? Can anyone make even a remote logical link between these two things????
 
I don't want to get into religion because it's not THR, but the antis sure sound a lot like the creationists...

I must say though that as an atheist I'm pretty disappointed with what I read above.
 
I'm an Atheist and find it disgusting that folks think that someone who doesn't think the exact same way they do is incapable of morality, ethics, etc. I'm a Libertarian who believes in individual freedoms,which can be learned in ways other than the moral dictates of religion.

Most socialists I've come across claim to be Christians anyway, 0bama certainly does.

As an athiest I can whole heartedly tell you this is BS in the highest order. And I am insulted by the implication. I DO NOT believe in government control And I DO have moral standards. And the TRUTH has meaning to me.
 
We need to start an atheist gun club. What to call it...? Unholy Shooters, maybe? Glocks, not God?

Seriously though i think it is good for many on both sides of current issues to realize that there is a wide diversity of people who enjoy shooting and value gun rights.

as long as there's no robes on my head, I'll agree. :D

personally though, I really don't care if the NRA or other pro-2A groups want to invoke god(s). just win the damn fight.
