I was making a funny. One of the selling points of the caseles system is only having two main openings to the elements, the magazine and the muzzle. What's the point if you're going to have ejection anyway?
Yeah it's telescopic cased. The goal is to evolve it into caseless.
Either way gives you major weight savings and that means more ammo can be carried by the soldier. The gun itself is also very light. That particular MG in the video I believe weighs in at about 9 or 10 pounds. That's impressive.
I want to see an infantry rifle using that telescopic round.
