Nop, actually I use it rarely, because I don’t like to leave the camera alone for an entire week. I live 200 km from where I hunt. But I will start to use it more often.

Last moon season I waited for these pigs several nights but the creeps didn’t show up. Now that I leave the camera standing for the entire week I know why: I waited until mid-night, and they came between 1.22 am and 3.02 am (camera registered the time).

In August and September boars aren’t very regular in the visits, because they have to travel many miles to get water and they prefer grapes and apples to corn and wheat. But rain shown up yesterday and fruit season is almost over.

I got all the time in the world, lol

The second set of pictures was taken near the first. Here, at the center of the picture, you can see where the wildview camera was placed and where boars appeared.

I used a dslr canon 350D and the gun’s tripod to stabilize it. I set the camera on automatic mode (P), disabled auto-focus on the lens (18-55mm) because there was not enough light to focus automatically, and enabled the shutter delay (so the camera doesn’t vibrate when shooting). Exposition time of each photo was around 20 to 30 seconds. For few seconds (5 to 10) during exposition time I light up my head lamp (led lenser H7R) and wave it around ;)

Night shots are great but don’t get me wrong, I prefer day photos, lolol:

Fernando, are you a welder too! Pretty nice job on the case.

I don't think I'd be too nervous to leave the camera in that, but you may have industrious crooks there!

Thanks, Rodensouth. It’s very easy to weld with recent inverters. And I welded almost everything in that case, even the head of that central bolt, so it doens’t came apart if someone unscrew the nut. However, some creep may still damage the camera inside.

Will start to use it more often now, no matter what. Next week will leave it hanging in the trees again.
