I bought it and a bunch of stuff off a guy that got a DV conviction and was needing to get rid of stuff. You guys don't want to know the results of the rest of the haggling I have done the last few weeks.

Ahh... domestic violence guy. Depending on what the actual charges were then he may deserve to lose his stuff for cheap. If he's a wife or child beater I would've offered $25 and been happy to cheat him.

We have some old retired guys who clean out our Local Wal-Mart every time they get a load in. Then they offer it to us working folks at 50-80 dollars per a Brick. I hope they enjoy eating it cause Hades will freeze over first before I pay that.

Well I would sure like to know where it's all at.....
Can't find .22 ANYWHERE around the STL area (that is - if you have a job)
I have tried ammo seek and gun bot and who knows what sites to try and find it. I am so FRUSTRATED with this whole thing! I have a decent quantity, but with the current inability to find it - I would buy the whole shelf out if I could find it for .05 cents a round or so...:banghead:
And I REALLY need to find a thousand or so for a friend who lives in a very rural area and doesn't have access to a city with the large box stores. Been waiting for this stuff to become available like the 9mm and .40 has - WHAT IS THE DEAL???:confused::confused:

If anyone is interested in prices from elsewhere, I get mine locally for between 40 to 50 AUD for a brick of federal copper jacketed, that's average Joe prices not loyal customer etc. no problems getting it in any LGS you walk in to. Heaps of options for cheaper or premium brands. I buy a brick every time I am there just in case your problem / market manipulation shows up here.

So the last couple years before '13 you guys were just ignoring the ammo that was on the shelf at reasonable prices?

I still dont understand how the company in the 1st post can still be selling so much ammo. I bought 3 or 4 cases of 22mag from them 1.5 years ago and they still have ammo for sale. Where's it coming from? No, I didnt get my 22lr from them but they were selling it too and still are.

Set up an account on wikiarms and you'll get alerts from Cabela's. Use their Ship to Store option for free shipping. I've managed to pick up enough to keep shooting anyway. If you don't mind Remington Golden or Thunderduds, you'll do even better.

I have that. But as I discovered yesterday, if you have only a 3g connection you can jump right on the email - and by the time you hit checkout it is already out of stock....
