If that means that some addlebrained twit of a politician passes a ban on some or all guns in the meantime, then so be it.

I'm not willing to "roll over" on this issue that easy. :(

Sure, the Republicans may leave a lot to be desired in some areas; but, a Democratic Congress had the better part of 40 years to screw things up to this point.

It is not going to be turned around overnight; :banghead: but, I think the Republicans currently offer our "best hope". By getting involved, communicating, and holding them accountable, we can slowly but surely get this turned around. Progress HAS been made. That's why the Dems have been so ridiculous lately. Things HAVE NOT been going their way and it is driving them crazy. :D

Freedom isn't free. It requires constant vigilance and a continuous fight to keep it. And, once lost, it's MUCH more difficult to regain it. :banghead:

I believe there is a BIG difference between the two parties and I think the current Democratic Party is a greater threat to this Republic and our way of life than many may realize.

Bravo for Chuckie Moses!

Now, when do I get my medal for breathing air? :scrutiny: Doesn't that count for something? Well, nothing is better than recognition before a firing squad. :p

"Now, when do I get my medal for breathing air?"

Have you paid your Federal mostly-Fresh Air Tax this year? Have you submitted the required paperwork? You did? Then please wait patiently by your mailbox. The medals are being mailed directly by the manufacturer in China.

A big Hurray for Mr. Heston. He is an american Icon in many ways and I have enjoyed his leadership in the NRA. On the sidebars, If Bush signs the AWB, I won't vote for him either. Of course I won't vote Democrat. I personally am still supporting Bush. His support of God and country is far and away better than ole' Bill. I think the Bush has to play a wee bit to the middle road and 'tease' a few votes for the next election. That is part of politics, he just needs to remember who is buttering his bread.

I'm proud to say that I have shaken his hand and he ruffled my son's hair and asked him "how are you doing little man?". My boy was thrilled.
