Hi-Power & Feg clone question

Howdy
Where can I get a cheap replacement bbl for a FEG Hi-Power clone to alter to shoot blanks? This will be for a reinactors group.
Are Browning and FEG barrels interchangable? I want to keep the original bbl as is. I need details.

Better check to see what barrel is in your FEG, if you purchased it within the last year. I bought one last year that is marked the same as earlier FEGs (PJK-9HP), but has a different lockup system.

The HP compatible barrel has a slot in the barrel foot, which engages a pin through the frame. You can often see the oval end of the pin, on the right side of the frame, but it's polished with the frame and hard to spot.

My barrel has a foot that is not slotted, but has an ear (lug) on both sides, which engage slots in the frame.

Mine also has a matt black finish.

I have an FEG that is about 4 years old. It is the same as the BHP. I have heard that the recent ones ARE different, so you might want to compare your barrel with a HP barrel.
