Hicks’ Percussion Caps Foil Lined - Remington UMC

    These date between 1901 and 1929. I have three of them. One fully sealed and the paper band says they are No 12 caps. The other two, one appears full and the other is missing perhaps a dozen caps.

    Any idea what a No 12 cap would be used for?

    I am keeping these for display purposes only, but any idea as to value?

    Given to me by the brother of my gunsmith friend who recently passed.

    Now I guess I need an original Colt Walker to go with these caps!
