When taking apart my HiPoint 45 ACP, I dove the pin to far trough and seem to have caused my self some major issues. Now the magazine doesn't seem to want to go all the way in, and the slide doesn't seem to want to hold back properly. I've been trying to figure out how to fix the issues I caused with no results so far. The irritating part is it's probably something simple that I'm missing.

I screwed up my Hi-Point carbine by using a POS Pro-Mag 15 rd. mag in it...turned the utterly reliable carbine into a really fantastic single shot :fire:

I sent it back to Hi-Point and they not only fixed it & retuned it quickly...they threw in an extra magazine...to make up for ME, screwing it up!!:what:

Send it back & don't sweat it; their customer service is second-to-none.

They probably paid the shipping both ways?;)

Perhaps a photo or two might help someone figure out your issue.

Also, I understand that Hi-Point has an excellent warranty program. Perhaps you should contact them. They may be able to help over the phone or fix the problem for you.

I figured ou that it was the missing sear spring that was causing the slide issue. Now just the magazine will not go in all the way.

Send it in to HP

I had the 9mm carbine for a while, basic inexpensive weapon. Great for teaching newbie and kids.
Called Hi-point with a question, specifically are there any cleaning products I should avoid because of the plastic innards.
Nice lady said use hoppes and rem oil and don't be fussy. Confirmed my address for the warranty card and sent me 2 mags and a thank you note. I was surprised and pleased. Good people.

Later Gave it to my daughter who loved it and now uses it as a truck gun.
