HIT THIS POLL -- should gun ownership be banned?

Jeez and I thought this crap only happened over here. As someone whose handguns have been banned and self-defence rights eroded I find it incredible that there are Americans who don’t exercise their right to own guns to protect their lives, their loved ones and their livelihoods. We are sometimes referred to as sheep on THR because we can’t own guns for self-defence but surely someone who can own a gun and chooses not is truly a sheep.

Don’t these people understand how important your second amendment is and what it stands for!!?

No, they don't.

Most of them can't even be bothered to vote either...

lol
Its called poll gerrymandering. Half of us don't agree with the statement. They bank on the idea that we won't vote because of it. That way they can bring the poll numbers up to where they want them.

Like
Yes - Guns should be banned and child molesters are evil
No - Guns should not be banned because everyone needs to shoot more kittens.

As you know, sheep are not defined by the country they happen to live in, and although there is still an extraordinary number of non-sheep in the US, I would say that the majority of the population are sheep. From The Brothers Karamazov: "Anyone who can appease a man's conscience can take his freedom away from him." That's just how most people are, and there are always a bunch of highly belligerent sheep (many of whom are wolves in sheep's clothing) who strive to make everybody else into sheep, by force of law whenever possible. Between countries, the difference is simply a matter of the degree to which the belligerent sheep (abbreviated henceforth appropriately as BS) have dominated over the populations.

Nope...that is, except for the wolves pretending to be sheep--they know all too well and they want all of our guns, pronto! Even in the US, most people automatically associate guns with murder and mayhem. This is because the BS control most of the media as well as our sad excuse for an education system. We non-sheep have to educate our own in important matters such as this (probably as it should be anyway), and constantly fight to protect the US Constitution and Bill of Rights from all of the BS in power who ignore it. In fact, we've been losing ground over time until the last 15 years or so, during which the tide of battle has apparently turned, although we're still losing in some places, such as California, despite the sizable number of non-sheep residing there.

This concludes today's report on the ovine dementia pandemic. ;)

50/50 as of 10:30AM CDT

Looks like the anti-gun websites must really be pushing this survey........... OR ........ Bloomberg paid the survey taker to rig the results, like every 3rd "No" vote gets recorded as a "Yes".

If there is a problem with where a gun shows up and is used to commit a crime...L.E.O. needs to go question the person on the purchase form. THAT'S why they take information about the person that PURCHASED the firearm.

L.E.O. should go to the retailer, then (or at the same time) be talking to the one that bought the gun. Find out where the gun went...how soon after the purchase...then go to the next guy.

Law enforcement, and the anti groups, just wants to do it the easy way...blame the store!

Managed poll Results

Just voted, still 50/50.

Weren't there several polls taken over the past few years (and during the Heller judicial debates) by legitimate, professional polling firms that asked whether or not citizens had the right to own guns?

If I remember correctly, pro gun ownership was somewhere around 70-75%, based on a nationwide survey.

This is a managed poll and another media propaganda tool to coerce opinion in New York.

New Yorkers voted for Bloomberg, so they get the government they deserve...

I hit it. As of today :barf:

Poll Results

Should private ownership of guns be banned completely?
Yes, it would be a giant step forward in the fight against crime. 52%
No, guns are too much a part of American culture and history. 48%

Rhetorically speaking, the article is writen to induce fear, and the poll is a sham the way it is written. Just more zionist garbage,

This poll is a sham.

First of all it is a NY periodical. Basically anything coming from NY pertaining to guns needs to be burned before it hits print.

Second, the guns sold in GA would not have been illegal in NY if NY followed the Constitution.
